Have you ever had a sexual experience that made you WILD? That felt like you were riding waves alternating between tears and laughter, release and orgasmic bliss. That wild, primal, unapologetic and free roller coaster of emotion.

Sex (good sex) creates a pure, present, safe and loving compassion that often your psyche views as a safe container to support healing and integration.

Your body and psyche are always naturally moving towards health and wholeness by clearing anything that’s not in alignment with your original essence. Conditioning around sexuality can go very deep and become toxic inside the body, holding you back from reaching your sexual peaks. When you want to sexuality thrive in any way, you must first release the conditioning or trauma thats holding you back. In order to release any conditioning or trauma it must first get pushed to the surface and brought to consciousness. And this is why sometimes it feel like you want to cry during sex..

For example; You’re having sex with your partner and edging towards orgasm but you’re unable to get there because of the unconscious belief that you’re not worthy of experiencing such pleasure, your psyche will bring this to the surface and release it, letting go of baggage and allowing you to move higher up the pleasure ladder.

Good, loving sex provides the best comforter after a release. You’re feeling safe, loved and supported and releasing all those feel good chemicals that will ground, soothe and nurture you back to harmony.

This beautiful union of pleasure and purification is a continuous cycle.

Most of the time the emotions will not accompany a story. You won’t know exactly what you’re releasing, you’ll just feel like bursting out into a hot mess of tears. The beautiful thing about this is that you’re able to heal and integrate past trauma very quickly, without ever having to relive it.

As a society we are not completely comfortable with all of our emotions, especially not crying and especially not during sex. It’s more than likely you’ll feel a little uncomfortable bursting into tears in front of your love when your meant to be looking all hot and sexy. When this happens most women choose to hold back and mask their emotions which creates numbness and more repressed energy.

It’s important to feel and bring consciousness to all emotions that arise. The more you feel into your ‘negative’ emotions, the more you’ll feel into your ‘positive’ emotions, which leads to more pleasure and bigger orgasms.

The truth is the more ’emotional’ you are, the greater you orgasmic potential. Let that sink in.

And this is why it’s cool to cry during sex!

The other reason you may cry during sex is because it’s just so god-damn blissed out and beautiful that you cry tears of pure joy and happiness – pretty cool too 😉
